Trevor Grimbleby is a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) and the Founder & President of The Amp Group, Inc., Central and Northern California’s only prosthetic-specific clinic focused exclusively on restoring movement, confidence, and long-term success for individuals with limb loss.
Trevor has worked in rehabilitation and prosthetic care since 2008, beginning his career in physical therapy settings while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He went on to earn his Master’s in Orthotics and Prosthetics, and has since dedicated his entire professional focus to prosthetic recovery, functional mobility, community development, and whole-person support for amputees.
With over 8 years of experience specializing in prosthetic care, Trevor brings a deeply informed, patient-centered approach to his clinical work. He has supported individuals through all stages of the prosthetic journey—from initial recovery to advanced gait training and reintegration into daily life. His clinical expertise spans outpatient clinics, hospitals, and in-home rehab, and he has collaborated extensively with physical therapists, physicians, and universities to improve outcomes across the continuum of care.
In addition to his clinical practice, Trevor spent three years overseeing operations for eight large Orthotic and Prosthetic clinics across California, managing teams and systems spanning from Stockton to Bakersfield. This leadership experience further shaped his commitment to efficiency, quality, and equity in prosthetic services.
In 2025, he founded The Amp Group, Inc. with a vision to bridge the gap between prosthetic fitting and real-world function. The clinic features a curated, adaptive gym environment tailored specifically for amputees, along with customized component selection and peer mentorship.
At The Amp Group, our mission is to create a space rooted in prosthetic excellence, where genuine care and personalized support come first. We are committed to advancing the lives of every individual we serve—whether they are just beginning their journey or are experienced prosthetic users. Unlike traditional clinics, we provide a community-centered environment that supports all levels of prosthetic use and pre-prosthetic rehabilitation. Here, mobility is rebuilt, lives are renewed, and a strong, inclusive community thrives.
The Amp Group isn’t just a clinic—it’s a community built for movement, recovery, and connection. Our large, welcoming space features floor-to-ceiling windows and an open layout designed to foster peer-to-peer support and meaningful interaction among prosthetic users at every stage of their journey.
We’re proud to offer one of the most versatile mobility training environments in the state, including over 60 feet of parallel bars—featuring two 20-foot runs that are open to the public—and a spacious walking room equipped with an 18-foot-long set of bars. Whether you're training, learning, or relearning to walk, this space is built to support every step.
Our retail section is stocked with essentials: from prosthetic-specific skincare to adaptive accessories and The Amp Group's own line of apparel and gear—everything curated with your lifestyle in mind.
And then there’s The Gym—a prosthetic and pre-prosthetic-focused fitness space designed for rebuilding strength, confidence, and independence. Open for membership access, it’s outfitted with parallel bars, pull-up bars, TRX straps, a squat rack, dumbbells, plyo-boxes, and much more. Unique to our gym is a terrain training zone featuring various surfaces—including rocks, gravel, and turf—so you can safely practice real-world walking challenges. More than just a gym, it's a place to train, recover, and excel. We’ll also host a variety of group classes including seated exercise sessions and adaptive yoga, ensuring that every body and ability level has a place to thrive.
At The Amp Group, we’re redefining what a prosthetic clinic can be—welcoming, empowering, and built entirely with you in mind.
Community is at the heart of everything we do at The Amp Group. From partnering with a local fabricator to design and craft our custom lobby sign, to working hand-in-hand with a Modesto-based contractor to bring our dream space to life, we are deeply rooted in the people and professionals who surround us. We proudly collaborate with California-based physicians, physical and occupational therapists, nutritionists, wound care specialists, counselors, personal trainers, and innovative prosthetic companies and manufacturers—building a dynamic, trusted network that supports every aspect of care. Our mission is not only to empower individual success but to drive genuine care and collective advancement across the Central Valley. At The Amp Group, we believe that when community thrives, everyone rises.
